How to set global Blogs configuration parameters

Problem Description

Setting general Blogs configuration parameters, for example homeblog handle, the maximum page size in the Blogs feeds, or upload restrictions.

Solution with IBM Connections provided tools

Find a user with admin-role in Blogs

1. Log in to Connections with that user,
2. Use the Connections-provided administration UI in the Blogs module.

Solution with Connections Administration Toolkit (CAT)

Navigate to Administration – Blogs, subsection Configure. There, all configuration properties are listed, separated by category.

After editing the parameters, a confirmation popup summarizes the changes and allows you to enter a comment. All changes, comments, and who made them, are logged by the CAT application.
